'The video is an attack on black people’
Updated | By Jacaranda FM news
A charge of racism has been laid against businessman Adam Catzavelos at the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC).

This is after a video went viral of him on a beach calling black people the K-word.
PLEASE NOTE: This video contains strong language and a derogatory term. Sensitive viewers may find this upsetting.
The video has caused a social media storm and has now led to social activist Tumi Sole laying a charge of racism against him at the SAHRC.
“His video is not only an attack on me only but a host of us as black people. Racism is violent and he was comfortable in basically calling black people the K-word.
“As a result he has infringed on my right to dignity, equality and being treated fairly, and I'd like to see this matter being attended to and prosecuted by SAHRC on my behalf,” says Sole.
Sole has also called on South Africans boycott any businesses associated with Catzavelos and to also lay charges with the SAHRC.
The commission has indicated that it will investigate as soon as a charge is laid.
