Alexian Lien's Range Rover was surrounded by several bikers on the West Side Highway on Sunday.

One biker apparently cut the driver off and slammed on the brakes just before the SUV bumped his rear tire.

But when Lien — who was driving his wife, Rosalyn, and their 2-year-old child — stopped, several bikers began to damage his SUV. Lien fled, striking one biker. But the group caught up to him and pummeled him before cops arrived.

The driver initially stopped after the accident, but sped away and struck three motorcycles when the group began to damage his SUV. No one was hurt during the getaway.

A dad out for a Sunday drive on his first wedding anniversary with his wife and 2-year-old child was attacked by a mob of motorcyclists in upper Manhattan who dragged him from his SUV and pummeled him on the pavement, cops said Monday.

NYPD Commissioner Raymond Kelly said up to 30 of motorcyclists finally caught up to Lien, when he exited the highway and got stuck in traffic at a red light at W. 178th St. near Wadsworth Ave. in Washington Heights.
Video taken by one of the bikers with a helmet cam shows one of the moto-psychos bashing the driver’s side window of Lien’s black Range Rover and another pounding on the rear window, where Lien’s daughter was in a car seat.

Motorcyclist Jeremiah Meises, 26, was hospitalized after being run-over by Alexian Lien when Lien attempted to flee from the bikers.

He’s taken out of the car. He is assaulted,” Kelly said.

The driver was driving northbound on the West Side Highway when he was surrounded by the bikers.

Lien, director of an e-commerce firm, was punched and slashed in the face with a knife in the ugly incident that occurred in broad daylight.
The the bloodied victim, a graduate of Columbia University, was taken to Columbia University Medical Center, where he received stitches for the wounds and was released.

The ordeal unfolded about 2 p.m. Sunday when Lien became surrounded by a swarm of motorcycles on the highway near W. 125th St., police sources said.

Lien suddenly struck one of the motorcycles when its rider cut him off and hit the brakes, sources said.

The driver was with his wife and their young child when they became trapped in a swarm of bikers along the West Side Highway on Sunday.

A video taken by a biker’s helmet cam shows the motorcycle — riding with hundreds of others as part of an annual ride from Brooklyn to Times Square — swerve in front of Lien’s SUV just before the accident.

Sources said Lien stopped, but “feared for his safety” as several of the bickering bikers began to damage his SUV.
Lien hit the gas and plowed through at least three motorcycles and struck one rider, breaking his leg, before speeding away, police said.

The man behind the wheel — who was driving his wife and their young child — feared for his safety and fled the group when they began to damage his SUV.

As some hopped off their bikes to tend to their injured friend, the angry bikers began to speed down the thoroughfare to catch up with the SUV.
The video, posted on YouTube, shows the frightening chase up the Henry Hudson Parkway and onto I-95.

The driver plowed through at least three bikes to get away — but bikers were hurt, police said.

At one point, the motorcycles surround the SUV — which sources said had a slashed tire — and one of the bikers tries to open the door, but can’t grab Lien out of the seat before he drives away.

The driver of the SUV was the only injury reported, cops say.

Lien sped off the W. 176th St. exit and continued to shake off the pack of bikers through Washington Heights. But when he’s forced to stop at a red light on W. 178t St. near Wadsworth Ave., the bikers attack.
The shocking footage suddenly cuts off — but police said the bikers beat the driver up and slashed his face and chest.

The driver initially stopped, but fled after the group of bikers began to damage his vehicle.

The biker with the broken leg was the only other injury reported, both NYPD and FDNY officials said.
No arrests were immediately made, but police said they were still investigating the incident.

The bikers sped through upper Manhattan to catch up with the driver, who struck a motorcycle on the West Side Highway.

Kelly said cops were trying to identify some of the bikers, but most of the motorcycles captured in the footage didn’t have license plates on the vehicles.

The wild chase began after the driver struck one of the motorcycles on the West Side Highway.

The commissioner said police were monitoring the ride — which is loosely organized by the group Hollywood Stuntz. He said the group caused chaos in Times Square when they suddenly showed up and disrupted traffic.
Police arrested 15 bikers during Sunday’s event, Kelly said, and several others were issued summonses.

The driver, described only as being in his 30s, received stitches to his face after the attack.

Investigators were reviewing nearby surveillance cameras and social media to try and track down the people who attacked Lien, Kelly said.
It was not clear how much damage was caused to the SUV.

Several commenters wrote that the driver was justified to flee.
I would do exactly the same thing,” one person wrote. “They’re intimidating him and he’s probably fearing for his life.
