VIDEO: Day 33 #MH370 hunt
Updated | By Staff Writer
Search coordinator Angus Houston says two further signals likely to be from flight MH370 have been identified, and have been analysed to be consistent with a flight data recorder.
Houston belives this is the lead they need to help narrow the search but he is reluctant to confirm without physical evidence if the flight ended in that part of the South Indian Ocean.
Prior to this Malaysia Transport Minister Hishammudin Hussein compared the mysterious disapperance of the Malaysia arilines flight to that of Air France Flight 447.
Fligth 447 disappeared on the 1st of June 2009 and the black box only recovered two years later.
About 50 bodies were found floating in the Atlantic ocean a week after the crash. The last body was recovered on May 2011 with 177 bodies still missing to date.
This is day 33 of the search for Malaysia Airlines flight Mh370 that vanished with 239 passengers on board.
