(VIDEO) If US strikes, there will be a response: Assad

In an exclusive interview with Charlie Rose of CBS News, a warning from Syria's president Bashar Assad: if the U.S. strikes his country, there will be a response. 

 

Rose sat down with Assad at the presidential palace in Damascus. 

 

Assad says any U.S. military action would benefit al Qaeda fighters who are among the rebels, and it would tip the war in their favor.
