Updated | By Mmangaliso Khumalo
Gauteng voters can score some treats at various food franchisers, hotels and beauty salons across the province on Wednesday.
Retailers, businesses and various brands are making the most of voting day to reward those with a black ink marked left thumb.
On Wednesday, voters can get a free coffee or a hot chocolate at some restaurants, while others are offering a free alcoholic drink.

And if you are craving something sweet, a doughnut could be yours.Â
If you need a ride to your voting station and back home, some users can get 35% off a trip.
"Weâre committed to helping to ensure that transport isnât a barrier to making your mark," UBER SA said.
"If youâre up early enough, punch âVOTESA24â into the promotion code field of your Uber app, and itâll automatically apply the 35% discount to your next two trips. Rides must be over R40 per trip to participate in the promotion. The platformâs regular Ts & Cs still apply."
And in need of a holiday?
A well-known hotel group has an election week promotion, with a 20% discount for voters planning a holiday.
For those who want to award their left thumb with a manicure, there's the chain of beauty salons that will give you 20% off.
