VUT students vow to take to streets again
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
Students demanding free higher education have vowed to shut down the Vaal University of Technology (VUT) until those who have been suspended and expelled are allowed to return to class.
Students are continuing with protests on the campus in Vanderbijlpark.
The PAC's Gcinabantu Ngceke says they will meet with University management in Alberton this afternoon.
"We will not write examination without those that have been expelled and suspended. If today we don't agree with them, we are going to take matters to the street," he said.
Another student says they are not interested in meeting with university management.
