Vuwani residents turn to court over demarcation issue
The demarcation issue is not going away and Vuwani residents in Limpopo has now taken the matter to court.
Residents are taking issue with the way the Department of Co-operative Governance and the Municipal Demarcation Board handled the matter.
Vuwani residents want the Limpopo High Court to overturn an earlier decision to incorporate their municipality with Malamulele.
Residents argue they weren't consulted before the changes set in, but the Municipal Demarcation Board and the Department of Co-operative Governance dispute this and said proper procedures were followed.
The case will continue on Friday.
