WATCH: Bystanders injured in shootout

A video of a gun battle in Durban has surfaced on social media.
Police say three bystanders have been shot and wounded in the shooting.
They were caught in the crossfire as police pursued a gang of suspected cash-in-transit robbers in Parlock - north of the city on Monday morning.

A gang of armed men attempted to rob a cash-in-transit vehicle outside the Value Centre in Springfield.
Five suspected cash-in-transit robbers have also been shot and killed in gun battle.
Police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala has confirmed the shooting.
"A shootout took place between suspects and police which resulted in the death of one suspect. He died on scene. The chase continued to Parlock where the suspects continued to shoot at police. Police retaliated - fatally wounding four suspects," she says.

Three suspects have been arrested, with another still on the run.
Four unlicensed firearms and the stolen cash boxes have also been recovered.
