WATCH: Elephants regularly drink from the toilet
Guests at a bush camp in Botswana often get the fright of their lives when a trunk suddenly reaches over the walls of a bush toilet.
A video of an elephant drinking water form a toilet has gone viral and according to a field guide this is not a unique occurrence.
She says guests are often caught off guard by the thirsty ellie and even though there is a waterhole nearby, this happens often.
The water in the waterhole is salty so the more particular pachyderms prefer the taste of toilet water, Barcroft TV reports.
