WATCH: Fire guts Mmabatho Palms Hotel in Mahikeng

Police in North West have confirmed that a fire has gutted parts of Mahikeng’s iconic Mmabatho Palms Hotel.
It is understood that the fire at one of the oldest casino resorts in South Africa started in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
North West police spokesperson Sabata Mokgwebone says emergency services are on scene to establish the extent of the damage.
“We can confirm that our members together with firefighters are at Mmabatho Palms Hotel that caught fire earlier this morning. At this stage, the cause of the fire and other details are still unknown,” says Mokgwebone.
Mokgwebone says the police haven't received any report of injuries.
