[WATCH] Flight school devastated following pilot's death

A Gauteng flight school is in mourning, after the death of a female pilot who was one of their students.

The Lanseria Flight Centre has sent their condolences to the family of the pilot who died when the light aircraft she was flying crashed.
Two people died in the light aircraft crash at a private residence in Vorna Valley in Midrand on Monday.
An employee who wanted to remain anonymous, says the school has been left in sorrow and pain following the pilot's death.
It's understood that she was a student.

"The aircraft taken off from Grand Central Airport. Unfortunately, two people have been fatally injured as a result of the accident. We also would like to indicate that an investigation in the cause of the accident has commenced," says South African Civil Aviation Authority spokesperson, Kabelo Ledwaba.
Eyewitness Stephanus Volschenk told Jacaranda FM News he saw the plane coming down in front of his vehicle.
