[WATCH] ‘Gangster State’ book launch disrupted

Supporters of the beleaguered African National Congress (ANC) secretary-general Ace Magashule disrupted the launch of book ‘Gangster State: Unravelling Ace Magashule’s Web of Capture’ in Johannesburg.
A group of protesters disrupted the book launch of ‘Gangster State: Unravelling Ace Magashule’s Web of Capture’ by journalist and author Pieter-Louis Myburgh.
Several books were ripped to pieces at the launch at Exclusive Books in Sandton City on Tuesday.
In videos posted by publisher Penguin Books SA on their social media feed, a small group can be heard chanting “Ace!”.
Security had to be roped in after the protesters refused to vacate the book store.
The explosive book levels allegations of widespread corruption and fraud during Magashule’s tenure as Free State premier.
Magashule has previously described the literature as propaganda.
