WATCH: Heavy snowfalls hit Japan
Heavy snowfalls in Tokyo and other regions of Japan injured several people on Monday.
There were large crowds at railway stations during the morning rush hour after the snow disrupted services, the broadcaster NHK reported.
Road accidents injured at least six people.
Heavy snowfalls were also reported in the north and north-east of the country, where at least two dozen people were injured.
Some flights were cancelled.
Heavy snowfall has also been recorded in New York and Moscow.
