WATCH: Joburg water investigates ‘blue’ tap water
Johannesburg Water says investigations are ongoing following a complaint by a resident that blue water was coming from their tap.
The complaint came after a resident noticed that their water was a deep blue colour.
The resident shared the video on social media.
Joburg Water spokesperson Puleng Mopeli says results will be provided 24 hours after being tested.
“Johannesburg Water is looking into a matter where a resident posted a glass full of blue water coming out of the taps. At the moment we are still investigating the matter, the samplers have gone on sight to take samples and results will be provided to the customers within 24 hours of being tested.”
