WATCH LIVE: Govt speaks on revised lockdown regulations
Various ministers will update South Africans on the revised Covid-19 lockdown regulations.
Several departments have had to make amendments to the regulations, including transport.
Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula backtracked on his earlier decision that taxi operators could only carry 7 passengers at a time, revising that number up to 10.
Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs also made a concession of its own – allowing some movement between provinces for funerals.
Government is expected to speak at length about these changes.
