[WATCH LIVE] Jackson Mthembu laid to rest in Mpumalanga
Minister in the Presidency Jackson Mthembu will be laid to rest in his hometown of Emalahleni in Mpumalanga on Sunday.
Mthembu died of Covid-19-related complications on Thursday, 10 days after he publicly confirmed he had tested positive for the virus.
He was 62.
The funeral will be held at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Ackerville.
President Cyril Ramaphosa honoured Mthembu with an official category 1 state funeral.
Ramaphosa is expected to deliver the eulogy.
