[WATCH LIVE] Kubayi-Ngubane to brief on Covid response amid worrying surge

Acting Health minister Mmamoloko Kubayi, together with a panel of experts, will provide an update on the country's response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
This comes amid surging Covid-19 cases, with the country reporting close to 20,000 daily cases for the past several days.
Government has had the difficult job of balancing the task to save lives and livelihoods, while facing widespread criticism about the slowed vaccine rollout.
South Africans are also waiting with bated breath to know if there will be further changes to the regulations as the country faces a brutal third wave of infections.
