[WATCH LIVE] Ramaphosa to address on level 4 restrictions
President Cyril Ramaphosa is set to address the nation on Sunday evening.
Ramaphosa will speak to the adjusted lockdown level 4, which comes to an end on June 12.
The restrictions, which were announced two weeks ago, banned the sale of alcohol, all gatherings except funerals as well as sit-down meals at restaurants.
The new number of new Covid-19 infections again topped 20 000 on Saturday, leaving Ramaphosa will little room to manoeuvre.
Most of the restrictions are expected to remain in place as Gauteng moves toward its peak and infections start to rise in several other provinces.
