[WATCH LIVE] Ramaphosa grilled at Zondo commission
President Cyril Ramphosa is expected to testify at the commission of inquiry into state capture on Wednesday.
He will appear in his capacity as leader of the African National Congress (ANC).
The commission has heard mountains of evidence regarding the alleged involvement of high profile ANC officials in state capture.
Some of the damning evidence include alleged corrupt activities with late Bosasa CEO, Gavin Watson, who apparently paid for ANC programmes in exchange for favours by government.
Ramaphosa’s son Andile also received a R500 000 donation from Bosasa meant for his father’s 2017 ANC presidential campaign.
The president is scheduled to testify on Wednesday and Thursday.
He is expected to return to the commission in May to testify in his capacity as the president of the country.
