[WATCH] Malema does the 'vosho' ahead of swearing-in
Updated | By Lindiwe Mpanza
Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema on Wednesday lived up to his promise to enter the National Assembly doing the 'vosho' dance.
Malema previously vowed that the EFF would enter the National Assembly in style.
The 400 MPs in the National Assembly were sworn-in by Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng on Wednesday.
The EFF has seen its allocation of seats in the National Assembly rise to 44 following the recent general elections, with Malema being sworn-in along with the likes of Naledi Chirwa, Vuyo Pambo, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, Floyd Shivhambu and musician Ringo Madlingozi.
The political party have secured 19 seats more than what they obtained in the previous elections in 2014.
Malema was congratulated by President Cyril Ramaphosa on the party’s performance during the recent general elections on Tuesday.
