In other news, the municipal workers union Samwu has denied that their members embarked on an illegal strike at Pikitup last week.
According to the City of Johannesburg, workers didn't pitch up and no indication was given of their grievances.
However, Samwu's Vuyani Singozo said all workers were at their posts.
"And as such there is nothing to interdict unless if management wants to tell us they want to interdict workers from going to work," he said.
