WATCH: Narrow escape for Durban paramedics
Updated | By Neo Motloung & Sinethemba Madolo
A team of KwaZulu-Natal paramedics got the fright of their lives after they almost became the victims of a hijacking in Ntuzuma near Durban.

The ambulance was busy transporting a patient from the township to a hospital when they were confronted by four armed men.
RescueCare spokesman Garrith Jamieson says the driver had to slow down, due to the amount of speed bumps in the road, when he noticed a group of men moving towards the ambulance.
“Four men approached the driver’s side window instructing him to pull over and pointing guns at them. The quick thinking of the driver meant that he took off and sped away while the four men tried run after the driver.”
