[WATCH] Ramaphosa, healthcare workers first to receive Covid-19 vaccine

President Cyril Ramaphosa and Health Minister Zweli Mkhize will join frontline healthcare workers in Khyalitsha as the first group of people to be vaccinated.

The first batch of Johnson & Johnson vaccine arrived at OR Tambo International Airport under the cover of darkness on Tuesday.
The 80 000 vials of the vaccine arrived on Tuesday evening, hours after Health Minister Zweli Mkhize told MPs in the National Assembly that government remains committed to providing free inoculations to all South Africans.
