[WATCH] Ramaphosa registers as MP
President Cyril Ramaphosa registered to be a Member of Parliament amid much fanfare in Cape Town on Tuesday.
MP’s from different political parties started registering on Monday ahead of the swearing in of members of the country’s 6th democratic Parliament.
On Wednesday, MP’s are expected to be sworn in and the next president of the country will be elected.
Ramaphosa told the media that after his election and inauguration he will constitute a cabinet that South Africans would be pleased with.
“Because it will have a balance of gender, youth, competence, demographics and regional spread.”
