[WATCH] Roof of Vereeniging petrol station caves in amid storm
Updated | By Nokukhanya N Mntambo
Two men escaped serious injury on Friday when the roof of a petrol station caved in on three vehicles.

A small bus, a taxi and a light motor vehicle were at the pumps when the roof gave in.
The drivers and passengers took refuge in a nearby shop.
Paramedics were called onto the scene at Seeiso Road in Vereeniging on the East Rand.
It is believed that the heavy rains and hail played a contributing factor in the collapse.
“Medics assessed the patients and found that two men, believed to be in their 20s, had sustained only minor injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found,” ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring says.
“The patients were treated and thereafter transported to Kopanong Provincial Hospital for further care.”
Earlier the South African Weather Service warned of possible severe thunderstorms over parts of Gauteng.
The thunderstorms are expected in the south-eastern parts of North West and the north-eastern part of the Free State.
