WATCH: Tokai forest on fire
Cape Town firefighters continue to battle a blaze that has spread across mountain ranges in the South Peninsula.
Five houses and nearly 3000 hectares of vegetation has been destroyed.
There is also some damage to parts of the Tinstswalo Lodge at the foot of Chapman's Peak Drive.
Residents of the San Michelle Old-Age Home and the Noorhoek Manor Retirement Village were also evacuated.
