[WATCH] Train services suspended after fire at Cape Town station

Earlier, all commuter services were cancelled, but some were restored during the course of Thursday morning.
Metrorail in the Western Cape said on Thursday morning that a limited service was being offered following a fire at the Cape Town station.
Footage on social media showed the fire raging, although the extent of the damage caused was not immediately clear.

In a Tweet, Metrorail said 4 platforms were affected by the fire.

Metrorail’s Riana Scott says 4 train sets were destroyed in the blaze and 18 carriages lost.
She says the damage to infrastructure still has to be assssed.
