WATCH: Truck torched on N12 in Eldorado Park protest
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
Johannesburg Metro Police are monitoring the N12 West between the Golden Highway in Eldorado Park and Klipspruit valley road following a protest action in the area.

A truck with its load was set alight on the highway earlier on Wednesday.
Protestors barricaded the road with debris and burning tyres.
This comes after 21 trucks were torched across the country since the weekend.
JMPD spokesperson, Xolani Fihla says officers have been deployed to the area to monitor the area.
"The cause of the protest action is not yet known, because, upon police arrival at the scene, the protesters leave without explaining the reason for the protest,” says Fihla.
“No injuries have been reported."
He adds: "The truck is obstructing traffic and causing delays on the N12 West heading towards Lenasia and Protea Glen. Officers have managed to remove the burning tyres and debris on the roadway.”
