WATCH: Wars forget about children

Children need to be protected from wars and leaders need to stop using violence to settle their differences. That is the message from African Union chairperson Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma who addressed the Global Child Forum on Southern Africa on Tuesday.

Dlamini-Zuma has called on leaders to consider the consequences of conflict, especially on the lives on children.
Over 250 delegates from 28 countries gathered at the CSIR International Convention Centre to discuss the advancement and protection of child rights.
