Hundreds of EFF members demonstrated outside the commission of inquiry into state capture on the second day of Gordhan’s testimony.

The party has vowed to remove Gordhan from public office.

“All the things we’ve said here, we are ready to prove them. We will not say them if there was no proof. We've got men and women who have recorded these things and these men and women have already discharged affidavits and we are in possession of them. We don’t have any affidavits from Tom Moyane or the Guptas and we don’t want them. We have affidavits from people who worked with Pravin and traveled with him to Canada. All of these people are ready and will come out at the right time,” Malema told his supporters.

The party alleges that Anusha, who they claim to be the director of 11 companies including Vox  Telecommunications, has benefitted from R80 million through government tenders.

“Anusha's business has amassed well over R80 million worth of state tenders, from only 11 ministerial responses immediately after registration of her companies. Amongst many bizarre contracts, including contracts canceled by the Department of Public Works and its entity, because Vox Telecommunication did not have the capacity, her company is paid more than R10 million to provide internet services by the Departments of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry,” said Malema.

The party said it's aware of several tenders between Anusha and National Treasury and that it will not rest until Gordhan follows in the footsteps of former finance minister Nhlanhla Nene and resigns.

“An attack on Pravin is an attack on white monopoly capital because Pravin is a dog of white monopoly capital. We must hit the dog until the owner comes out and once the owner comes out we must deal with them decisively. Pravin is a cabal that belongs to the UDF and destroyed all good African comrades. He is no good,” Malema charged.
