We are not intimidated, says Zondo after burglary
The commission of inquiry into state capture has confirmed a burglary and shooting at its premises.
The commission’s chair, Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo, said on Monday a laptop and a monitor were stolen during a break-in at the weekend.
The commission moved its premises at the beginning of the year to cut costs.
It currently sits at the Johannesburg city council.

He also said last week a shot was fired at one of the office windows.
He says the bullet has been found and police are investigating both incidents.
“If anybody is trying to intimidate the commission into not doing its job properly they must know that the commission will not be intimidated,” said Zondo.
He said it was not clear if this was just an act of criminality or if it’s related to the work of the commission.
Zondo says everyone working for the commission is dedicated to ensure their work is completed.
