WEATHER: Another cold front on the way

The South African Weather Service has issued a warning of an intense cold front that is expected to affect the Western Cape and southern parts of the Northern Cape on Sunday and Monday.

Gauteng: Fine and cool but warm in the north, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers in the south from late afternoon spreading to the central parts in the evening.

Mpumalanga: Fine and cool but warm in the Lowveld, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.

Limpopo: Partly cloudy and warm.

North West: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers, except in the extreme north-east.


Rustenburg: 07 / 26


Free State: Cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered over the southern and central parts clearing from the west from the afternoon.


Bloemfontein: 11 / 23


Northern Cape: Cloudy along the coast with morning fog patches, otherwise fine and cool to warm but cold on the southern high ground. It will be partly cloudy in the east with isolated showers and thundershowers clearing in the afternoon. 


Kimberley: 10 / 25


Western Cape: Cloudy over the southern half of the province with light rain along the south coast and adjacent interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool.


Cape Town: 15 / 18


Eastern Cape: Partly cloudy and warm becoming cloudy from the south in the afternoon with isolated showers along the south coast in the evening. It will be cool along the coast.


Port Elizabeth: 15 / 23


KwaZulu-Natal: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers in the south and west.
