[WEATHER] Brrrrrace yourself, it’s cold outside
Those living in the interior parts of South Africa are in for a cold start to the week with temperatures dropping to below freezing in Mpumalanga.

- Cold frosty MON morning across interior of SA, weak front brushing south coast of WC.
- Cold front along coast on TUE with rain in EC and KZN coast+adjacent interior.
- Rain continues along KZN and EC coast on WED.
- Cold front in WC on THU+FRI
Meteorologist Wayne Venter says Gauteng will be cold on both Monday and Tuesday, but will be sunny for the most part.
Mpumalanga, however, will see light rain on Tuesday and Wednesday night and partly cloudy conditions for the rest of the week.
In North Wet severe frost is possible at the start of the week.
Coastal areas are not completely off the hook with a week cold front set to hit the Cape on Thursday, and rain forecast for the eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal on Tuesday and Wednesday.
