[WEATHER] Cooler conditions expected in Gauteng
Updated | By Eva Chipa
The cold weather may be leaving early in the week but cooler temperatures are still expected to be the order of the day over parts of the country.

South African Weather Service forecaster Lethlogonolo Thobela says the cold front will dissipate starting from Monday.
“Temperatures are expected to improve from tomorrow and then move into the cool to warm conditions over the northeastern parts of the country further into the week. However, we are expecting the rain to move along the north-eastern parts of KwaZulu-Natal.
“On Tuesday rainfall can be expected over the southwestern parts of the country affecting the Western Cape, as well as the eastern coast of the Eastern Cape with a 30% chance of showers, but the rest of the country will be clear.”
Thobela says Gauteng will get slightly warmer conditions in the north compared to the south.
“Into the week cool to warm weather can be expected in the northern parts of Gauteng, whereas the southern parts of the province will just experience cool weather.”
