WEATHER: Gale force winds expected
Gale force south-easterly wind of 60 to 70km/h are expected in places over the Cape Peninsula of the Western Cape from this afternoon.
Severe thunderstorms are expected in parts of the Free State, North West, Mpumalanga, Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal with heavy rain expected in parts of the Free State and KwaZulu-Natal.
Gauteng: Hot in the north, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with scattered showers and thundershowers.
