WEATHER: Heat wave in the middle of winter
The South African Weather Service has issued a warning of a heat wave with persistently high temperatures that is expected along the coastal areas of the Northern Cape on Monday.
Gauteng: Fine and cool.

Mpumalanga: Cloudy in places in the east with morning fog patches along the escarpment and on the Highveld, otherwise partly cloudy and cold to cool but fine in the west becoming partly cloudy in the east from the afternoon but fine in the evening. It will be warm in places in the Lowveld.

Limpopo: Morning fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool but cloudy at times in the east and north becoming fine in the south-west from the evening.

North West: Fine and cool.

Free State: Fine and cool.
Bloemfontein: 01 / 20
Northern Cape: Fine and cool to warm but ot in places along the coast, becoming cloudy along the coast by evening with fog overnight.

Western Cape: Fine and warm, but hot in places over the west coast northern interior. It will become cloudy in the south-west from evening.
Cape Town: 16 / 25
Eastern Cape: Fine and cool to warm. The wind along the coast will be Moderate north to north westerly.
Port Elizabeth: 10 / 26
KwaZulu-Natal: Partly cloudy in the north at first, otherwise fine and cool but cold in the western high-ground. The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh easterly to north-easterly.
