Severe thunderstorms are expected over the eastern interior of the Eastern Cape and south-western interior of KwaZulu-Natal.

Hot and humid weather will result in extremely uncomfortable conditions over the north-eastern parts of KwaZulu-Natal and the Lowveld of Mpumalanga.


Gauteng: Cloudy in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.

Mpumalanga: Cloudy in the morning with fog patches over the eastern high grounds, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered on the eastern Highveld. It will be hot in the Lowveld.

Limpopo: Cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers at times. Fog patches are expected along the eastern escarpment in the morning.

North West: Partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers.

Free State: Partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the south and south-west.

Northern Cape: Very hot in the north, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated thundershowers in the east and north. It will be cool along the coast with morning fog patches.

Western Cape: Partly cloudy and cool along the coast where it will be cloudy at first, otherwise fine and hot to very hot over the interior. Light rain is expected along the south coast by evening spreading to the adjacent interior

overnight.

Eastern Cape: Warm along the coast with evening rain in the Tsitsikamma area, otherwise partly cloudy and hot with isolated showers and thundershowers in the north and north-east in the afternoon.

KwaZulu-Natal: Partly cloudy and hot to very hot but extremely hot in places in the north-east with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers but scattered in the extreme south-west.
