WEATHER: Hot and humid

Severe thunderstorms are expected over the western and central parts of KwaZulu-Natal.
Hot and humid weather will result in extremely uncomfortable conditions in the Limpopo Valley, the Lowveld of Mpumalanga and Limpopo, the Western Bushveld and the extreme north-eastern parts of KwaZulu-Natal.
Gauteng: Hot in the north, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated evening showers and thundershowers.

Mpumalanga: Partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers from the afternoon, but scattered along the escarpment where it will become cloudy with fog patches by the evening. Very hot to extremely hot conditions are expected over the Lowveld.

Limpopo: Partly cloudy and hot to very hot with isolated showers and thundershowers from the afternoon, except over the Limpopo Valley, becoming cloudy with evening fog patches along the escarpment. It will be extremely hot in places over the Western Bushveld, Limpopo Valley and Lowveld.

North West: Very hot in places in the west, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers.

Free State: Partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers, except in the south-west.

Northern Cape: Morning fog patches along the coast where it will be partly cloudy, otherwise fine and cool to warm but hot to very hot in places in the north. It will become partly cloudy in the south and north-east.
Kimberley: 20 / 32
Western Cape: Cloudy along the coast and adjacent interior with isolated showers and rain, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong westerly to south-westerly.
Cape Town: 17 / 19
Eastern Cape: Partly cloudy and warm to hot, becoming cloudy along the coast and adjacent interior from the afternoon with isolated showers and rain. Isolated showers and thundershowers can be expected in the north-east by the late afternoon.
Port Elizabeth: 16 / 24
KwaZulu-Natal: Partly cloudy and warm becoming cloudy with scattered showers and thundershowers from the afternoon but isolated in the south-west. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly in the north at first, otherwise south-westerly.
