Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in the interior of the Northern Cape and the Western Cape, and also over the western interior of the Eastern Cape.

Gauteng: Partly cloudy and warm with scattered afternoon showers and thundershowers.

Mpumalanga: Cloudy in the east with morning fog patches on the eastern high ground, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the southeast.

Limpopo: Cloudy in the east, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers.

Northern Cape: Warm along the coast with morning fog, otherwise fine and hot to very hot with isolated thundershowers in the north-east. The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-westerly becoming fresh to strong by the afternoon.

Western Cape: Partly cloudy along the western part of the south coast at first, otherwise fine and hot to very hot but warm along the coast. It will be extremely hot in places over the interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to 

south-easterly.

Eastern Cape: Fine and warm, but hot to very hot over the interior. Isolated afternoon showers are possible in the northeast. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to north easterly.

KwaZulu-Natal: Morning fog patches in the interior, otherwise cloudy and warm with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers in the west. The wind along the coast will be moderate south-easterly, becoming north-easterly from the south.
