WEATHER: More flooding expected

Heavy rain is expected in places over the Overberg District with localised urban flooding that is expected with severe thunderstorms over the northeastern parts of Northern Cape and western parts of the North-West Province.

Hot and humid weather will result in extremely uncomfortable conditions in the Lowveld of Limpopo and the Limpopo Valley.
Gauteng: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the south.

Mpumalanga: Fine and warm to hot becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in places on the Highveld. It will be very hot in the Lowveld.

Emalahleni: 14 / 28
Limpopo: Fine and hot but very hot in places in the Lowveld and Limpopo Valley. It will become partly cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers in the extreme south spreading to the central parts by evening.

North West: Partly cloudy and warm to hot with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the northeast.
Rustenburg: 17 / 31
Free State: Cool in the northeast, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with scattered showers and thundershowers.
Bloemfontein:16 / 33
Northern Cape: Partly cloudy and warm to hot with scattered to widespread showers and thundershowers but cloudy in the west. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate westerly to south-westerly becoming north-westerly in the evening.
Kimberley: 15 / 34
Western Cape: Cloudy in the east at first, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but hot in the interior. It will become cloudy in the north-west in the late morning with widespread showers and thundershowers spreading southwards and eastwards in the afternoon.
Cape Town: 17 / 26
Eastern Cape: Partly cloudy and warm but hot over the interior in places. Isolated afternoon and evening showers and thundershowers are expected in the west and north.
Port Elizabeth: 15 / 24
KwaZulu-Natal: Partly cloudy in the west at first, otherwise cloudy with morning fog over the interior and cool but warm in the north.Scattered showers and thundershowers are expected in the west and south otherwise isolated.
