WEATHER: More thunderstorms expected

High seas with wave heights in excess of 6m is expected between Plettenberg Bay and East London in the morning.

Severe thunderstorms are expected in places on the Mpumalanga Highveld, Western Bushveld of Limpopo, Gauteng, central and eastern parts of the North West as well as the northern parts of the Free State.
Gauteng: Cool in the south-east,otherwise partly cloudy and warm with scattered afternoon and evening showers and thundershowers.

Mpumalanga: Cloudy in the east with morning fog patches and drizzle along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the east.
Mbombela: 16 / 19

Limpopo: Cloudy in the east with drizzle and fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the south-west.
Polokwane: 14 / 24
North West: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers, except in the extreme west where it will be hot.
Rustenburg: 16 / 29
Free State: Cool in the north-east, otherwise fine and warm but partly cloudy in the east and north where isolated showers and thundershowers are expected but scattered in the extreme north.
Bloemfontein:
Northern Cape: Fine and warm to hot. The wind along the coast will be strong south-easterly.
Kimberley: 10 / 29
Western Cape: Cloudy over the eastern interior and along the south coast with light rain at first, clearing over the interior mid-morning, otherwise partly cloudy and cool but fine and warm over the western interior. It will be hot along the west coast.
Cape Town: 15 / 25
Eastern Cape: Partly cloudy and cool, but cloudy along the coast with isolated showers. It will become fine over the northern interior from mid morning.
Port Elizabeth: 12 / 19
KwaZulu-Natal: Morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated showers but cold in places over the interior. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly.
