Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in the eastern parts of the Northern Cape and the western parts of the Free State.

Severe thunderstorms are expected over the extreme western parts of KwaZulu-Natal from afternoon.


Gauteng: Fine and hot, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers in the south spreading to the north in the evening.

Mpumalanga: Cloudy along the escarpment at first, otherwise fine and warm, becoming partly cloudy with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers, except in the Lowveld where it will be hot in places.
