Localised urban flooding is expected in places over the Overberg District, the Cape Metropole as well as the southern parts of the Cape Winelands tomorrow morning.

Severe thunderstorms are possible over the central parts of both Free State and North-West Province tomorrow.


Gauteng: Partly cloudy and warm with scattered afternoon showers and thundershowers.

Mpumalanga: Cloudy along the escarpment in the morning with fog patches, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers but scattered in places on the Highveld. It will be cool in places on the eastern Highveld.

Limpopo: Cloudy along the escarpment at first with fog patches and drizzle, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers except in the Limpopo Valley and Lowveld.

Northern Cape: Partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the extreme east. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly.

Western Cape: Cloudy and cool with scattered showers and thundershowers but widespread along the south and south-west coast and eastern interior. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly in the west and south-west but fresh by afternoon, otherwise light westerly to south-westerly becoming fresh in the afternoon.

Eastern Cape: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers. It will be hot in places in the interior.

KwaZulu-Natal: Cloudy in the east with morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with scattered showers and thundershowers in the extreme west, otherwise isolated.
