Westbury community leaders arrested
Updated | By Sinethemba Madolo
Two prominent community leaders
from Westbury will be appearing in court soon on charges of public violence and
incitement of violence.
Gauteng police spokesperson Kay Makhubela says the two were arrested on Wednesday morning.
The arrests comes amid protest action that started in Westbury on Tuesday after charges against two of the four accused in the murder of Heather Peterson were withdrawn.
Petersen died in October after she was caught in the crossfire of a shootout between rival gangs.

The suspects could not be linked to the shooting.
"So far we found out they were the ones inciting the violence," Makhubela says.
Roads around the area have since been reopened and police are monitoring the situation.
