Wet start to the day as SA heads to the polls

According to Dipuo Tawana of the SA Weather Service, "We have a band of cloud from the North West to the Eastern Cape."
As South Africans head to the polls on Wednesday, wet and cold weather is already affecting some provinces.
According to Dipuo Tawana of the SA Weather Service, "We have a band of cloud from the North West to the Eastern Cape."
While Gauteng can expect rain in the afternoon only on Wednesday, the Western Cape is partly and cold to cool with scattered rain and showers over the south-western parts.
Strong winds are expected in North West and Free State, as well as the eastern parts of the Northern Cape, moderating by the afternoon.
Isolated afternoon thundershowers are expected in Mpumalanga with wet weather also expected in parts of the Northern Cape.
