Sisulu believes that is the best way for President Zuma to honour the late struggle stalwart Ahmed Kathrada.

Kathrada's funeral echoed with calls for President Zuma to step down.

Kathrada didn't mince his words a year ago when he called for President Zuma to leave office.

The Rivonia Trialist, until his death, waited for a formal response from President Zuma - a response which never came.

"The ANC is a people's movement and the ANC needs to be the movement that listens to the people. If the people say step down, listen to the people. That is what we were taught when we grew up. We were born in the ANC and we grew up in the ANC and we've got the highest regard for the movement," says Sisulu.
