The day of our first democratic election 23 years ago - changed South Africa forever.
For the first time - anyone aged 18 and above, could vote.
Nelson Mandela was our first democratically elected president, followed by Thabo Mbeki, Kgalema Motlanthe and Jacob Zuma.
As with all significant events in our lives, many of us can remember the exact moment we voted, the feelings of excitement, or maybe just watching the visuals at home.
So tell us where you were as history was being made more than two decades ago.
