Wits student protests enter third day
Updated | By ANA
Hundreds of protesting students sang revolutionary songs at Johannesburg’s Witwatersrand University as they awaited Vice Chancellor Adam Habib to respond to their demands on Friday.

The demonstrations against proposed tuition fee increase entered third day. Lectures were suspended.
Habib left the Higher Education Summit under way in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal to speak to the student leaders.
Fees for 2016 were set to go up by 10.5 percent, prompting students to hold protests to oppose the increase. The students had taken to social media, and the hashtag #WitsFeesMustFall garnerned support from users, especially on Twitter.
