Woman, 63, arrested for murder
An elderly woman has been arrested after she allegedly stabbed a 35-year-old man to death in Itsoseng near Lichtenburg, North West police said on Monday.
"It is alleged that in the early hours of Sunday, a 63-year-old woman stabbed her lover with a knife," said Sergeant Kealeboga Molale.
"It is alleged that the child of the suspect found the deceased lying outside in a pool of blood. When he asked his mother what happened she fled the scene."
The woman was arrested later on Sunday and would appear in the Itsoseng Magistrate's Court on Monday.
