Woman arrested at Cape Town International Airport for drugs worth over R1.8 million

A 27-year-old Zimbabwean woman, living in Hillbrow, Johannesburg, was arrested at Cape Town International Airport on Saturday for being in possession of tik (crystal methamphetamine) valued at more than R1.8 million, Western Cape police said.

A 27-year-old Zimbabwean woman, living in Hillbrow, Johannesburg, was arrested at Cape Town International Airport on Saturday for being in possession of tik (crystal methamphetamine) valued at more than R1.8 million, Western Cape police said.
Members of the border police based at Cape Town International Airport arrested the woman after she arrived on a flight from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, spokesman Captain FC van Wyk said.
